To carry forward the Wan’an spirit of craftsmanship and showcase the fine demeanor of female employees, on the occasion of International Women’s Day, the Wan’an Group Trade Union Federation organized a spring outing for female employees with 20 or more years of service to Qingshan Lake in Lin’an, under the theme “Twenty Years of Devotion to Wan’an: Celebrating Brilliance in the Spring Breeze.” The event was held over the weekend.

That morning, a bus brimming with laughter and joy departed from the group’s headquarters and headed for Lin’an. At the Qingshan Lake Scenic Area, distant mountains shone in deep shades of blue, while shimmering waters rippled gently. Over a thousand acres of metasequoia and bald cypress stood in the water like soldiers standing at attention, creating a rare aquatic forest spectacle seldom seen anywhere in China. The female employees boarded a tour boat and glided through the woods, as if stepping into a poetic landscape where “trees grow in the water, birds sing on the branches, and people wander as though in a painting.”

In the afternoon, everyone headed together to Miji Village in Linglong Subdistrict to admire the renowned Chinese red cherry blossoms. Nestled against the hillsides, nearly a thousand mu of land are planted with over 100,000 clock-shaped cherry trees, their deep crimson buds adorning the branches like cascading waterfalls, set off by the lush green mountains and bamboo groves. Strolling through this picturesque landscape, visitors paused to take in the scenery or snap photos, fully immersing themselves in the rich, romantic ambiance of spring.

This event is not only a spring outing but also a heartfelt gesture of appreciation for the silent dedication of our “half the sky.” Throughout the years, Wan’an has consistently upheld a people-oriented philosophy, prioritizing employee development and well-being. By organizing a variety of cultural and sports activities, offering holiday greetings and care, and providing regular health check-ups, we continuously enhance employees’ sense of belonging and overall happiness.

On the way back, everyone was still reluctant to part and eagerly expressed their gratitude for the company’s thoughtful arrangements. One female employee said with heartfelt emotion: “Over the years I’ve worked at Wan’an, I’ve witnessed the company’s steady growth and felt the warmth of a big family. Today, being able to go on this outing with my sisters has made me incredibly happy and deeply moved. I sincerely hope that Wan’an’s future will be even brighter!”
