On March 3, the Party, Trade Union, and Youth League organizations of Wan’an Group jointly organized a themed event titled “Wan Jia He Le Celebrates the Lantern Festival; An Nuan Hearts Unite to Move Forward Together.” More than a thousand employees gathered in the staff canteen to enjoy tangyuan, solve lantern riddles, and play games, basking in the warmth of the festival amid laughter and creating a joyful and harmonious Lantern Festival celebration.
The event venue was beautifully decorated with colorful lanterns and festive banners, exuding a strong New Year atmosphere. Inside the staff canteen, vibrant lantern riddles were strung along the long corridor, covering a wide range of categories such as character meanings, classical poetry and proverbs, workplace knowledge, and everyday life tips—testing participants’ erudition while offering plenty of fun, drawing employees to pause and ponder or discuss them with one another. The interactive game zones, featuring activities like ring-toss, were especially bustling and lively. Participants were fully engaged and worked seamlessly together; as they solved puzzle after puzzle and successfully completed game after game, they eagerly claimed practical prizes such as paper napkins, dishwashing detergent, and creative cultural gift boxes.
Perhaps nothing is more heartwarming than enjoying tangyuan. Snow-white glutinous rice balls tumble in boiling water, filling the air with their fragrant aroma. During mealtime, all employees gather to savor the soft, chewy tangyuan while exchanging festive greetings. A bowl of these sweet, sticky treats not only warms the stomach but also the heart, embodying Wan’an’s care for its staff and conveying the spirit of “harmony and joy for every family, united in warmth and peace.” Li, a frontline worker, shared: “Eating tangyuan—symbolizing reunion—at the company and playing games with my colleagues makes me feel as warm as if I were celebrating the festival back home.”
Amid laughter and cheerful chatter, the event came to a successful close. This not only vividly exemplifies Wan’an’s commitment to a people-oriented corporate culture, but also serves as a heartfelt recognition of the hard work and dedication of all employees. Over the years, Wan’an has consistently prioritized employee care, regularly organizing holiday visits, cultural and sports activities, and skills competitions—efforts that have genuinely enhanced employees’ sense of fulfillment, happiness, and belonging.
