VIE Honored as a “National Advanced Enterprise Union for Dual Love and Dual Evaluation”

On January 6, the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce, the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security, and the All-China Federation of Trade Unions convened the National Conference to Commend Advanced Private Enterprises in Employment and Social Security and to Recognize Those That Achieve Win-Win Outcomes by Caring for Their Employees. The main venue of the conference was held in Beijing, while a video sub-venue was set up in Zhejiang. At the conference, the VIE Group Trade Union Federation was awarded the title of “National Advanced Enterprise Trade Union for Dual Care and Dual Assessment.” Chen Huan, Chairman of the Group’s Trade Union Federation, attended the commendation ceremony and took to the stage to receive the award.
This is yet another national-level honor that VIE has received, following its previous accolades such as “National Model Enterprise for Building Harmonious Labor Relations,” “National Model Workers’ Home,” “National May Day Labor Award,” and “National Worker Pioneer Title.” Only 32 enterprises nationwide have been selected for this honor. The award signifies that VIE’s trade union has achieved remarkable results in areas including organizational development, democratic management, skills enhancement, and humanistic care. It represents the highest recognition and authoritative endorsement of the company’s efforts to “build harmonious labor relations, deepen the protection of workers’ rights and interests, and promote the coordinated development of the enterprise and its employees.” Moreover, it further motivates VIE to continue playing a leading and exemplary role in “driving industrial upgrading and practicing common prosperity.”
VIE Group established a trade union in 1999 and formed a trade union federation in 2019, which comprises 11 grassroots trade union committees. As a leading private manufacturing enterprise in China, VIE has always upheld the mission of “creating products for society and building industries for the nation.” By innovating party-building-led mechanisms, perfecting the rights and benefits protection system, enriching employee care initiatives, and building platforms for growth and development, VIE has successfully fostered a positive ecosystem characterized by “companies caring for employees and employees cherishing the company,” providing a vivid model for the development of industrial worker teams in the new era.
In terms of Party building leadership, the company’s trade union adheres to the principle of Party-led trade union development, strengthening ideological and political guidance, continuously deepening the integration of business operations, and promoting the construction of red production lines, red leadership teams, and model posts for Party members. Each month, the union also organizes a series of “Party Flag Flying High” study and visit activities, consistently boosting the synergy between Party building and business operations. Regarding rights and benefits protection, the company’s trade union focuses on employees’ well-being by continually reinforcing the institutional safeguards for labor relations and upgrading living and recreational facilities. It has newly expanded and upgraded talent apartments, staff dormitories, and workers’ activity centers, and in collaboration with local hospitals, regularly provides free medical consultations, thereby enhancing employees’ sense of happiness and belonging. The union has established a dual-track career development system and collaborates with universities to cultivate talent through programs such as the Enterprise-University Study and Innovation Class, the Blue Eagle Engineering Class, and the Qifan Class, boosting employees’ sense of accomplishment and fulfillment. In terms of spiritual and cultural development, the union systematically organizes a variety of cultural and sports activities, including sports meets, speech contests, tug-of-war competitions, hiking tours, Ba Duan Jin exercises, and cheongsam shows, conveying VIE’s warm and family-like culture to employees. In terms of collaborative development, employees treat the company like their own home, actively offering suggestions and ideas. Through rationalization proposals and technological improvements, they have achieved cost reductions and efficiency gains totaling nearly ten million yuan, injecting strong vitality into VIE’s high-quality development and creating a win-win situation where both the enterprise and its employees benefit and thrive together.
Enterprises need outstanding employees, and employees, in turn, need outstanding enterprises—this is a win-win situation for both sides. When accepting the award on stage, Chairman Chen Huan said that holding this medal felt incredibly weighty, and he was truly filled with pride for the company. I myself am a longtime employee of VIE; I joined the company right after graduating in 2004 and built my family and career here. Now, it’s been 22 years. There are many employees like me. During VIE’s 40th-anniversary celebration, we conducted a survey and found that nearly 1,000 employees have been with the company for more than 10 years. It’s safe to say that our employees demonstrate an extraordinary level of loyalty to the company—they truly share its destiny and grow together with it.
Having traversed a 40-year journey, VIE Group has grown into a leading enterprise in China’s automotive components industry. Behind this remarkable achievement lies the tremendous strength forged by the mutual affection—“companies loving their employees and employees loving their companies.” Looking ahead, the VIE Group union will continue to deepen the essence of the “Dual Love and Dual Evaluation” initiative. As the company advances its intelligent and digital transformation, the union will keep enhancing employees’ skills and overall well-being, and will unite and mobilize all employees to make even greater contributions to writing a new chapter of Chinese-style modernization in Zhejiang Province.
