Job Description:
1. Develop design solutions and ideas suitable for EMB product applications, based on system requirements and functional safety requirements.
2. Responsible for the design and verification of the powertrain in the product, and refining gear design parameters.
3. Responsible for FEA analysis of the main structural components in the product.
4. Develop mechanical components suitable for EMB product applications, based on industry regulatory requirements and braking product performance specifications.
5. Define or select economically suitable component materials based on the application environment and operating conditions of the components.
6. 3D modeling and 2D drawing creation based on CREO, as well as product database maintenance.
7. Engineering Bill of Materials (BOM) Creation and Management
8. Design Failure Mode Analysis
9. Technical communication and management with component suppliers during the product development process
10. Tracking the production of design prototypes and tooling prototypes during the product development process
11. Tracking and analyzing issues during prototype testing in the product development process
12. Assist in the development of manufacturing and assembly process flows and perform failure mode analysis on processes.
13. Internal work coordination within the company includes:
14. Proactively report to and raise issues with the mechanical design supervisor or project manager.
15. Actively coordinate with the electronic design team/testing team from the R&D department.
16. Actively coordinate with the production and manufacturing departments to provide technical support and R&D input.
17. Collaborate closely with purchasing engineers and quality engineers to effectively manage component suppliers.
18. External work coordination within the company includes:
19. Responsible for answering and resolving mechanical-related technical issues in communications with suppliers or customers.
Job requirements:
1. Bachelor’s degree or above in Mechanical Design and Manufacturing or a related field such as Vehicle Engineering.
2. At least 2 years of work experience in R&D positions related to the automotive industry; prior experience in brake system development is preferred.
3. Proficient in powertrain and gear design, and skilled in using KISSsoft/Romax gear design software.
4. Proficient in the theory and practical applications of FEA finite element analysis, and familiar with ANSYS/ABAQUS software.
5. Familiar with the development, design, and process flows of products such as precision-machined metal parts, castings, and plastic parts.
6. Proficient in using CREO/Windchill.
7. Be familiar with APQP and FMEA-related standards used in design and development.
8. Language Requirements: The primary working language is Chinese, but applicants must also have strong English speaking and writing skills.
